2 looks for a spring day at Venice Beach
by Alex Michael May

Living in L.A. I don’t exactly need to dream of escaping the cold, harsh winter, but there is still that anticipation of spring — of the warm sea breeze and the blooming bougainvillea painting the town a literal red. Luckily, I can transition to spring and resort-centric pieces a little earlier than the rest of the country, and have selected two head-to-toe Ryllace looks to test out for a day at Venice Beach.

Easy Breezy

I love a neutral palette through the spring and summer, and this look just oozes resort elegance. I chose this classic and luxe silk cami and layered it with a breezy loose-knit cardigan and jeans.

We All Need Structure

I think we all know the feeling of finding that perfect linen dress — it has structure yet it is SO comfortable. Looks effortless, needs little styling to make an impact, and is breathable and light. Meet the Ryllace Linen Lantern Dress, your new best friend. I love the sleeve details and the fact that it’s 100% linen made from French flax — classic! I added a headband and some sneakers that are easy to slip off for playing in the waves.

It’s so nice to find a plus brand that constructs classic quality pieces that will last at an affordable luxury price point. I have heard so much about Ryllace, so when they reached out to partner for this post, I was excited to give some of their pieces a whirl!

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these looks. Check out the rest of their site for a gorgeous new Resort Collection to get a head start on your Spring wardrobe.
